JA_JP
ja_JP.UTF-8, 1041, 0x0411, JIS, Shift-JIS or EUC-JP
is a really cool feature where Windows can’t read Japanese characters so it vomits up a load of garbled text like this: ã‹ã‘ç®—3ã®æ®µè¨€ãˆã‚‹? ã°ã£ã‹ã«ã—ã¦ãれã¡ã‚ƒã£ã¦ã‡ ã¿ã¿ã‚“ãŒã¿ ã¿ã¿ã‚“ãŒ? ã¿ haha don’t worry it’s supposed to do that.
So this one time I actually went to the place that invented ja_JP.UTF-8, 1041, 0x0411, JIS, Shift-JIS and/or EUC-JP, as a matter of fact I lived there for a whole year. In the UK, you’re able to apply for this visa called the Working Holiday visa where you go and live in Japan for a year or two, you have permission to work in order to supplement your travels.
Anyway, I think that ja_JP.UTF-8, 1041.. Japan for short is a pretty neat place, they also invented 7-Eleven, Super duper Mario, and the blue LED which is reason enough to like them.
